Welcome to the website of the Georgia Association of Health Plans (GAHP). The Georgia Association of Health Plans (GAHP) is a non-profit organization whose members help empower Georgians to access affordable, quality health care services. In our efforts to provide cost effective health care to consumers we negotiate agreements with physicians, hospitals, pharmacies and other health care providers on behalf of those enrolled in our plans. As a result, enrollees have access to networks of highly skilled health care providers, leading hospitals and effective medications at prices that maximize value.
It is the primary goal of our members to empower consumers to lead healthier lives by providing this type of service. It is the goal of this website to further the understanding of these efforts and of the health care system generally. We welcome you to the GAHP website and encourage you to explore the Health Care Almanac for information about the health care system. We also invite you to contact us with your comments and questions.
